The wild has been waiting for you.
You have probably had this dream for a long time.
The dream that you travel far, into the wild, and experience with your own eyes the animals you grew up looking at in travel magazines and National Geographic. African safaris. The tigers in India. The turtles and birds in the Galapagos.
One day, you tell yourself.
One day when the kids are grown, when work settles down, when you can afford it or find someone to go with.
Here is what I know after nearly a decade of taking people into the wild: one day is not a plan. And the window does not stay open forever. I have watched people lose their chance – bags packed, plane ticket bought – and then life intervened. I carry those people with me on every journey I lead. They are why I will not let you keep waiting.
Your one day is now.
What makes these trips different?
These are not sightseeing trips.
I am not a tour operator who puts you in a vehicle and points at animals.
I have spent years taking people into the wild to help them reconnect with what really matters, Through these trips, my experience as a minister with Centers for Spiritual Living, and being a professional animal communicator, I have created a wildlife journey that is deep, meaningful, unforgettable, and provides the opportunity for transformation.
Please understand this – animals are not passive in this, they are willing participants in our personal transformation. They are not only willing to particpate, they want you to hear and feel them. They know that when human lives shift, so do theirs. So if you get quiet enough, present enough, open enough — the wild will meet you there.
When you return home, you realize things have changed in your life. The things that felt enormous at home become more managable. What you thought was urgent turns out isn’t so important. What you have been postponing finally feels possible.
I call it looking at your life from the moon, because from far enough away and in the depths of the wild, perspective shifts.
Every trip is built in three phases.
Before you leave
Two virtual animal communication classes prepare your inner landscape before you board the plane. A custom reflection journal begins the inner work before the outer journey starts. Most people arrive at a wildlife experience ready to look. My travelers arrive ready to receive.
On the ground
I move between vehicles during game drives, teaching you in real time how to be in relationship with wild animals rather than just observe them. You will learn to ask what each moment is offering you, and to actually listen for the answer. Every animal encounter is treated as an invitation – not just something to photograph, but something to receive. These are not coincidences. We then debrief every evening to connect what we witnessed outside to what is stirring inside. The wilderness becomes a mirror.
After you return
One month after the trip we reconvene on a Zoom call to reflect on what has actually shifted in everyday life. This is where the experience lands fully. It is also where the most powerful stories come from.
Are you willing to give up control
to be open to the magic?
If the answer is yes - keep reading.
Your next journey is waiting.

Hi Karen in addition to the survey. I wanted to say personally that the trip far exceeded expectations. I usually am very involved in planning our foreign iteneraries. Not planning means I did not get excited. Now that I am home I am more spiritually connected, reading Various translations of the Tao te Ching, swimming faster, 13 pounds lighter and most importantly I have started writing a historical fiction piece. That is a huge goal of my retirement and now it is happening.
Hi, I'm Karen.
I’m an animal communicator, an ordained minister of Centers for Spiritual Living, and have been leading people into the wild for over nine years.
I took my first safari at 52 not expecting it would change my life, but it did anyway.
Every trip I lead is built on this belief: the wild has something to say to you. My job is to create the conditions for you to hear it.
